10 Days of Love - Day #10 GIVEAWAY

Hey! Look at me posting before evening. :) I wanted to give everyone a chance to leave a comment before the draw tomorrow night. I'm so excited to share it with you!!! So without further ado... Here is the Valentine Kit that is up for grabs...
I must say I did put together quite the kit this time. I spent lots of time adding to the pile. With all that goodness it didn't fit on my desk for the picture I had to put it on the floor. I do hope everyone will be drooling. HaHaHa Alight so what you gotta do to win this loot is just leave me a comment telling me why I should send this kit to you. :) Person who I deem best answer wins the "Kit of Love". One comment per person please.
I also have a few more love projects to share. Some more wrapping with the famous Martha Stewart cupcake wrapper carnations. I used some Christmas wrappers I had left over. HeeHeeHee Added some stamen to the tops, tied a bow, added a heart, one of Elle's Birdie tags, and now I have a gorgeous wrapped box of chocolates for the giving. :)
Here's a sweet treat... Bought these lovely heart shaped suckers at the Walmart 2 for $1. Some ribbon and another tag from Elle's Studio and now I have something to hand out to friends on Valentine's Day. They're gonna love me. :)
I hope you've had a very inspired last 10 days. I also hope to do something like this again. It was fun. Thanks so much to everyone who has followed along and left sweet comments. I always love to see what my readers have to say! :)
Just one last thing before I go I have been inspired to do THIS, which I saw over at Danielle Thompson's Kitschy Digitals Blog ... I can't wait. I bought all the goodies for it last night. :) So simple (which I love heehee) and so pretty. I will be making tons of sweets for Valentine's day!
See you tomorrow night where I'll announce the winner!
PS Please US residents only this time. Shipping is a bit insane for me right now, unless by some chance you'd like to pay the shipping fees just note it in your comment. Thanks so mcuh.

Oh the fun I could have with this kit! It is fantastic!! :)

I'll just have to give you my sad sob story as to why I deserve it. Hubby has been out of work for over a year and my scrappy/stamping budget is pretty much nonexistent. This would be fabulous to receive!!

That kit is awesome!!!

Well, I think I deserve the kit because Hubby got selected for army recruiting duty about 8 months ago and every since then (the move and the new job) my baby and I just sit at home lonely while my hubby is gone 13+ hours a day 5-6 days a week. Its honestly a really lonely life being an army wife but a recruiters wife is sometimes too much to handle especially because its hard to be supportive when I have had to give up a lot of my life (but I love him). Plus every since we moved I haven't scrapped (I miss it)... Oh AND we have a new baby on the way due April 7th. I need to scrap the memories!

OMG I think I just vented... sorry!

Wow Mara-May...that kit is just utterly amazing!! I also love your creations! Those lollipops are adorable!!

Why do I deserve the kit? Well, I don't think I am any more deserving than the next person. That said, I am on a 100% spending freeze when it comes to anything other than household necessities. With my husbands support, I am following my dream. I am not ready for the entire world to know the details yet- but it is a costly dream...so we have zero extra money right now, because all of it is going into savings. So, winning a giveaway of fabulous scrappy product would surely brighten my world! Email me at jnllawson@bresnan.net if you want to know the details...and can keep a secret! :)

Wow!!! What a KIT!

I think I should get the kit because well, I just love it! I can tell that this kit was created just for me, and I am dreaming about what I can do with it! Thanks for the chance!

This is one gorgeous kit you've put together all the attention really shows the love for the craft and for the yummy supplies!

I really love making gifts for other people, love the joy it brings to them or those they gift it to. I've come to realise though that my own little family could stand to be documentated, pampered and shown some extra loving attention and what better way to accomplish that then with this super yummy crock full of LOVE kit??? I've got lots of ideas for Valentine's day coming up and for today as well (it's my DH's Birthday!) and this kit would more than go the distance in documenting it and then some!!!

Super cute stuff, but are we surprised? It's you! LOL. The kit is adorable, makes me want to be all in love.

This looks like a beautiful and fun kit. I could say I deserve it because I got laid off and am not working right now, but that seems to be happening to a lot of people. I think I constantly need to be reminded that there is love and hope out there though!

Meg said...

I love this kit!

Why should I get it? Because I've spent the last 1.5 years without a crafty space because our house was on the market and I haven't scrapped in almost 6 months because I've been working on a charity crop I host that is next week. I'd love to be able to use this kit when I finally get around to crafting in March :)

Amber said...

Why should you give me the kit?

Perhaps because I'm charming and irrestible? Perhaps because I love it? Perhaps because, like most Americans...the economy has hit close to home and what extra money we DO have goes to savings? Perhaps because I would be your lifelong advocate? Perhaps because I will give you publicity?

Hopefully...because you want to?

=) Thanks for the opportunity...I have loved the 10 Days of Love!

Loved all the inspiration during the past ten days... thank you! And as the only female in a household full of boys... I think it's about time I start scrapping about me with some of your yummy pinks and reds! What an awesome kit... thanks for sharing! :)

Nicole said...

Oooohhhh. That looks like a might great pile. I love the looks of all that stuff.
I can't say that there is any one reason in which why I deserve it any more than any other of the ladies. The reason why I really want it is that I love kits. I have 4 boys (ages 14,12,4,1) and kits are a great way for me to be able to scrap quickly because all the stuff it all together already. I don't have tons of hours to actually get the chance to sit and to it, so kits are the best way for me to get anything done. lol.
Have a great day.

Hi there....love your inspiration and all the happy colors...can't say that i deserve it as i have lots of supplies but i can give it a nice home with lots of "family" members. But i could use the inspiration right now.....those bright happy colors are very inspiring and perfect for the cold and rainy winter weather we are having out here in Cali.!

Unknown said...

I'll be honest, I don't really have any good reason why I should get it over the next person. Other that it is fabulously cute. I mean, I don't have three ears, or poliosis, nor did my second grandmother's three times removed cousin's friends uncle just pass away.

I LOVE the colors....love all your kits!

Jingle said...

Well, here is the thing. I opened your post and I got REALLY excited! I wanted to win big time! Red is my favorite color and Pink is a close second and I figured I should give it some time to think of a clever and witty way to tell you that I deserve this kit. Then I got to thinking. I could tell you about my troubles (which are very real, but much like many others) OR, I could tell you about someone ELSE who deserves this kit! So, that is what I am going to do. I have a friend whose name is Anne Marie. She has been nothing but a dear support to me through all that I have been through. Our friendship has grown from loving, caring for, and supporting one another. She is going through some things that are harder than what most of us have to deal with. It's bigger than money troubles and so real and so very important to her. Despite all of this, she has been there for me whenever I have needed her! She has so much going on that she doesn't have time to do things like read the blogs she loves and enter fun contests, so, I am actually entering on behalf of Anne Marie. She has shown true care and love for others and, thus, deserves to be shown love this Valentine's Day. I can't afford to go buy her a wonderful kit like this, but I could throw my hand in to win one and have it sent to her! So that is what I am doing! Her new blog (the one that doesn't talk about the troubles so much, as she is working to move beyond them even though she lies in the midst of them) is here: http://onemouseclick.blogspot.com/
I hope you will consider Anne Marie as the recipient of your amazingly generous giveaway. She truly deserves it!

Brianna said...

This is so bright and cheery!
I think I should win because I need some bright scrappy pages and this would be perfect!

Hey there Mara, I know that everyone deserves it in one way or the other but I will give a brief on my story as well. It has been a rocky time for me finacially, marriage wise, stable home wise, and even right down to effecting my two little ones. I will be alone this Valintines because my husband was shipped off to California for long term medical care which left having to move yet again. This would be the fourth or fifth time in less than 6months. I just need some love from somewhere to let me know that it still exist. LOL!

Thanks Mara

Wow! What an amazing kit! I've loved all the goodies you've made and been kind enough to show us these past few days. I have sad stuff happening like everyone else, but I'm not gonna go into that because I'd probably cry. My life is good, because I have a loving DH and DD who make me smile. I've learned that nothing much else matters. I've been absolutely humbled this past year. I'd love the kit because pink IS my signature color, and it makes me happy. Scrapbooking and papercrafting are my creative therapy, and I'd probably be insane without them. LOL! Thanks for the chance to win!

oh my, well this kit is just fab!

i think that i deserve this kit simply because it is so totally amazing. plus i have yet to purchase any scrapbookin valentines goodies - and this kit is just slammin with love - so therefore i must win it.

Wow! That is some kit! I love the bright and happy colors.

I'd love to have that bit of cheeriness in my life right now. We are in the process of selling our home and the house we want to buy is getting an offer on it from someone else today. So, we may be desperately searching for a place to live by the end of this month.
Oh, and did I mention that I'm seven months pregnant with our second little one!
Our timing is awesome! LOL!

Wow! What an amazing kit! It's all so pretty and I think you can easily create a ton of fun projects with it!

You know it's really hard for me to say that I deserve this kit more than anyone else. I think everyone who has posted comments deserves to win. Like so many others out there, times are tough for my family too. My husband was also just laid off and we've had to tighten our spending too. But for me that's not the reason I want this kit. I want it for my two daughters. They're 9 and 11 and have recently discovered papercrafting and scrapbooking. I can't tell you how excited it makes me that they share the same passion to create as I do. As soon as I saw the photos of the kit, I knew right away that they would love everything in it and have so much fun with it. If I were to win, I would love to surprise them with it and then the three of us could have a scrapbook day together and make all sorts of cute pages and projects with the kit.

Hi Mara-May,
I would really appreciate receiving this fantastic kit simply because as soon as I saw it, a million different ideas popped in my mind. And maybe receiving it from you, out of all people, would inspire me to futher think outside of the box as so often your work encourages me to do. I'm not the most needy of it but since I can't go to Reflections (its awful, I actually wept a little when hubby turned down my proposal), this might help me get over the dissapointment. :)
Thank you and take care

Suzanne said...

Wow that's a beautiful kit! I have more than my fair share of "I deserve" stories but still don't think I deserve it anymore than the next person. But I want it as much and would be just as happy to use it up! :)

Harley Dee said...

Someone pick me up off the floor! This kit is fan-TASTIC! I don't think I'm any more or less deserving than anyone else.. but I would like to have it because hubby and I can't spend money on anything but household necessities right now. Work has been slow for both of us. So that means no Valentine's celebrating for us either.

Lisa said...

oh my gosshhhh that kit rocks! i think it should go to me because i will make pretty things with it hahaha

ummmmm and because you were supposed to room with me at cha and didn't...and then i never got the chance to meet you! sad times!

lol good luck picking the winner!

you really know how to put product together. I've been such an admirer of yours for so long now. I knew you would make it big in scrapbooking and someday I hope to be right there with you.

There's no real reason for you to give the kit to me other than that I'd love it, I'd use up every single bit of it, and I'd have a huge smile on my face while doing it. Thanks for sharing all of your project ideas over the past 10 days. I'll keep reading every yummy thing you post.

Ohhhh...I just love this kit. I don't have a sad sob story as to why I deserve it. I don't need to give you one. I can tell you that I check your blog absolutely every single day and, get so much inspiration from it. It would be an awesome valentines present to play with those yummy looking paper. Haha. It would be amazing to get this kit!

Oooh! This is a fabulous kit! I guess I don't know that I truly deserve this kit anymore than anyone else, but I think you should give it to me because there is a pretty good chance I'm going to be put on bedrest in the next couple of weeks (I'm due in April) and this might just make having to stay at home all freakin' day less awful!! ;)

Thanks for being so generous!!

ok i'm sorry but i'm lol'ing over shabby chic crafts "caca head"...made my day!

Why do I deserve the love giveaway? Cause I have no hubby, no bf, no date.......I NEED some kinda lovin!

Jodi said...

Love your blog! And that lollipop is so cute!

I'd love to receive this bundle of goodness. I'm currently on bed rest (have been since Dec. 17th - oy vey!) with our first child. As you can imagine, this is no picnic or extended vacation - lol. And according to my doctor, I may be on bed rest for the duration of this pregnancy (until mid-June). Which means loss of employment, and perhaps my sanity! But whatever I need to do for this little one, I will do!

Finding these goodies in my mailbox would brighten my day, and give me something to look forward to...and new to play with! With bed rest, I definitely don't have the opportunity to peruse and purchase new scrapping supplies.

Thank you for your 10 days of Love as I enjoyed your projects. And thank you for offering such a generous giveaway! I wish you a very Happy Valentine's Day!

I can see you sure can, and I definitely appreciate the time and effort you put into it. I've just recently discovered your blog, and I visit frequently. Thanks for the opportunity to win this. It's absolutely gorgeous. It sure shows the love you have for this hobby. I'd be lucky to win this. Thanks!

P.S. I would love it if you shared pictures of the treats you make for V-day...I love to bake and cook!

This is Awesome!
Hmm...I think I deserve the kit, since I am a somewhat newlywed, fresh out of college student, who found papercrafting/stamping/scrapbooks, etc. as the only outlet to help me not go insane with being bored of the everyday grind. The company I work for is on the fritz recently (I work for a newspaper) since the economy took a turn for the worse, and my husband works for Rite Aid (in an article by Yahoo Finance news- one of the top 15 companies most likely to not exist by the end of the year). I'd like to say I deserve it more for the fact that I have very little scrap/stamping stuff in general being a newbie to the world, so this would not only make my day, but expand my craft stock fully!
I love your blog, keep up the cuteness!

Sally said...

I don't think I deserve this kit any more than anyone else on that has/will post. But I will say this: I haven't been inspired to scrap in a LONG time. Scrappin' used to be such a huge part of my life and right now it has taken the backseat in my life to kids, housework, hubby.....But I saw your cute little packaged treats (Day 6 or 7,I think) and I just knew I had to make them. I made 3 of them for my kid's teacher. If nothing else, thanks for inspiring me. :)

Jessy Christopher said...

OMG!!! Your designs ROCK BIG time for sure!! I love every single one you posted. That kit is definitely to die for... I can't wait to see who is the fortunate one to get that beautiful kit you compiled!!

I wanna this kit so much because I can't get most of those things you have in the kit. In my hometown, Malaysia...scrapbooking is not very well known. I hope by receiving the kit I can introduce scrapbooking to many other Malaysians. Cause that kit has loads of potential to make pretty and cute stuff!!

You should send the kit to me since I'm not much at work these days with my bad back because of the pregnancy, I need a project to do when I'm home these last 10 weeks or so. + it's sooo awsome and I loooove the colors!! So please send it to me..

Wow!!!

Anonymous said...

That is one awesome kit!!! As to why I deserve it? I absolutely love your work and I'm also trying to refinance my house, so my scrapbook budget is zero right now. Plus I would use the kit to make a memory album for my grandma who is having some health issues. She's been my best friend for so long, it's the very least that I could do for her. I hope it will make her smile and remember the good times and how much she is loved.

Anonymous said...

Wow!! This kit is the most awesome kit ever!! I love the colors, all the decos, the papers, everything about it! One reason as to why I should get this kit is because I rarely ever buy new things, I just cannot afford it, being a student and all. I love scrapping and I don't have much to do it with and I need it right now since I am down with a really bad depression and scrapbooking helps me look at the world with brighter eyes. This kit makes me happy, it makes me smile, it gives me lots of wonderful ideas and I need some cheering up, this would definatley do it! And if you don't want to send it to someone international (like I am) I might be able to chip in some on the shipping cost..cuz this..I really want! Wow! I am in love!!

I think i should win the kit simply because... I'm a man!!!!

I'm only a beginner in scrapbooking, but she likes my works anyway.

Thank you! If I win, I will surely show you my work!

That kit is gorgeous! I would love to win this kit because well, I just bought a really cute TuTu from etsy for valentines day for my DD and this kit would be prefect to scrap the pictures I take with her in it, I also want to make some of the projects you posted the last 10 days, but do no have much Valentine's Day product here for that! This would be So SWEET to work with!

I just recently discovered your blog and awesome handi-work!!!
I would love this kit just because who wouldn't love to recieve this package in the mail?! LOL
BUT, personally, I'm hoping you'll send it to "Jingle" and her friend Ann Marie. I do not know these ladies, but was touched by the sweet spirit of Jingle.

Jiggy Jen said...

Oh how awesome does that kit look!!! I would be honored to receive it and would send you pics of my work!!! I love your blog by the way - so inspiring!!

Maria said...

Why should I get the kit? honestly, I don't know! I am happy to say right now my family is happy and healthy and I am SO VERY GRATEFUL for those two big things. That kit is gorgeous and filled with so many goodies! Things I don't really go and splurge on very often.

So, if I was lucky enough to get the kit, I would make something from it to make someone else happy!

Anonymous said...

This is an awesome kit - can't wait til it arrives on my doorstep! Ha! You will never believe this is the first time I've ever posted a comment on a blog. I stumbled upon your blog by complete accident last week and have started my days by checking what's new with you! Very inspirational! In fact, it took me a while to figure out how to leave a comment! So I deserve the kit because I'm a newbie!

Anonymous said...

Yep, been loving the last 10 days.
Why do I deserve it? I don't think I'm any more deserving than anyone else. Others have experienced hardship, especially in these tough times. But I try to do the best I can and put others before myself.
Thanks for the opportunity.

Michelle said...

HI Mara your kit is so fun I truly love it! I really don't deserve the kit any more then anyone else who's posted here I don't really have a story as to why I should get it I mean all of us are heading towards hard times are dealing with or have dealt with hard times so getting a fun kit would truly be awesome for any one of us!!! I really like your projects and those lolly pops are so simple and cute :) I love how you love to make people's day!

have a good day!

elissa said...

I've been trying to think of something really clever to say, but the truth is - I probably don't deserve it over all the other wonderful ladies who have posted. The reason I would like it is, I'm always trying to be the best parent I can be, I work really hard at my job and I'm usually putting most people ahead of me. I'm learning that's important to take care of myself so that I can be a happier, healthier person. And this kit would be a good reason to take a couple hours for myself to just play and enjoy some Elissa time. Thanks for the chance!

Okay, besides the fact that I am sooo in love with this kit (and I would've paid intl shipping - I'm from Durban, South Africa) I really think this kit should go to Jingle who will pass it on to Annemarie ... giving is what it's all about ... good for you, Jingle ...

Love, Tracy G

What a super fun kit!! I'm not the best at self promotion, but I think the reason why I should win the kit is because I have two new Valentines at home this year...my 8 month old twin boys! :)

This kit is so great!!!

Why I think I deserve the kit? Well my fiance and I have been engaged for a year and a half now, and I have yet to scrap any of our engagement photos! At first I thought I would scrap them with our wedding photos, but now I want to do a mini album just about our engagement, and this kit would work so perfectly for my pictures and theme!!
I am from outside of the States - I live in Canada, but I don't mind paying the shipping fees ;-)

I can't say that I deserve it - especially after reading some of the comments. I just love everything to do with Valentines day and always have. :)

Here is my sob story - We live in Utah with our 3 and 5 year old kids, DH is currently deployed to Iraq. Monday I shoveled about 12 inches of snow, yesterday it was only 2, today it looks like a blizzard outside. Won't shovel today until it stops. Have you ever had to shovel with your kids?? They think its so funny to move the BIG piles back onto the driveway. As you can see I could really use a little treat! Thanks for listening;)

I think you should give this kit to me because my boyfriend of four years just broke up with me last week, which was a total surprise. He said he just didn't think we were right for each other anymore. This kit would remind me that true love does exist and that I will find it someday. Until then, I should get some happiness from scrap goodies.

this kit is absolutely gorgeous!
i l♥ve it!!

why should it be in my hot little hands? ...because after a difficult 2008, 2009 is my year to be thankful, and i plan to make an album to remind me of all the little blessings in my life... the everyday things that i l♥ve.

and this kit would be perfect!

What a great giveaway. Please throw my name in the hat.

Why do I deserve this kit? hmmmm....You know I haven't scrapped in over two years. I think this kit will be the perfect kick in the butt to get back into it.

Thanks for the offering.

hugs, Maria

I just found your blog and am loving all the reds and pinks and white that I see.

I'd be ECSTATIC if I won the wonderful and generous prize. I'd go crazy making all kinds of sweet things for co-workers, girlfriends, and relatives.

That kit looks scrumptious.
Well, I dont have a stand ot answer for why i should win it(other then I would have a lot of fun creating with it) but something funny did happen about 20 minutes ago.
I was taking pics of my puppy, when my 5 yr old son got jealous, and demanded I take pics of him in his Valentines boxers, so I said sure, and as the camera clicked he FLASHED me!!! So, i got his little white bum in the picture:) Hahaha was good for a laugh..and something to embarras him with in about 10 years:):)

I think you should send me this kit, because it would make my wife glow this Valentine's Day to have some scrapbooking goodies. She's a little different. Instead of diamonds, roses, or chocolates, she'd probably rather me get her scrappy stuff. Yeah...I said different, I meant weird. Hah! But in all seriousness, she scrapbooks because it makes her happy and so she can document our lives and our daughter. I'm happy when she's happy, so you'd be doing both of us a favor. She means the world to me. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

oh my gosh! that is totally gorgeous! i'm going to say that i'd love it...and even promise that if you send it to me, i'll not only put it to good use, but RAK it forward by making things with it that i can then leave around my city randomly...spread the love, right? YAY! if you dig it, i'll do a photo story about it on my blog, too. good luck choosing and thanks for being so generous!

AM I still in time to enter?
I deserve it because it would give me the opportunity to expand my love for scrapping. I have learned so many new techniques that I want to do them all - these goodies would help me practice all that I've learned!
