Boring Friday?

You decide. LOL This week we got a cable box. We already had cable just without the box, which gave us like 50 channels. We don't watch too much T.V. So we don't need the box Tim just got it for this Boxing Fight this weekend. Lame. Anyways so now we have like 900 channels! Seriously, do people really need 900 channels. I mean how long would it take you to flip through 900 freakin' channels? An hour? Geeze. So yeah, no, we will not be keeping the box. We'll just have it till next week then it'll take it's happy little annoying self back to the cable company. Well actually I'll probably be taking it's happy little self back but you get what I am saying. So point and case, with this annoying little box comes this handy little feature called On Demand. Which means I can buy a movie through the box and watch it whenever I want pause it, fastfoward it, rewind it, and all that god stuff. I thought this was pretty neat and had to test it out this morning. LOL So I "demanded" (hee hee) Memoirs Of A geisha. I had been dying to see that movie, but didn't want to buy it, so now was my chance and so I did! Ha. It was good too. I loved it actually! And the main girl is so so pretty! Wow! Good movie. So yeah, I scrapped today! It was fun too. Infact I wouldn't mind scrapping again right now, but no I can't it's almost time for me to hit the hay. Good news though! I am gonna be guest designer at Scrapbook Star for the month of June. Cool, hey?! That's what I was working on today. I will be issuing a challenge on the first there. Be sure to check it out. ;-) Wanna say thanks to Sam (owner of the site) for giving me this opportunity and the cool supplies I got to order! You rock Sam! Thanks chica! And yet with all the gloom from not making it on The Cherry Arte Design Team **rolls eyes** I got another call from Scrapbook Trends. Throw money. **she says as she bows Okay so I have come to the conclusion that my blog is pretty boring after all. I suck at writing. No fun at all here I am afraid. I even bore myself really. Well...

Another week is gone and a new one begun.

Started this week out by going on a Kindergarten field-trip to the Zoo. Weeeeeeeeeeee! Talk about tired! LOL Walking Walking and MORE WALKING! I am so tired. Took about a hundred pictures too. It was a fun day. Timmy had a blast with the boys. Running around like chickens with their heads cut off. LOL It was sad though because the Hippo that was there since forever had died. There was a note on the fence explaining how he was 50 years old and died of cancer. Poor thing. So when we were going by to see it some of the older kids were all telling the boys how the Hippo had died. My son was really concerned. He didn't really understand. He kept asking,"Why did the Hippo have to die Mommy?" "I didn't want him to die." Awwwwww. Then he kept giving me hugs. Big tight ones. He was seriously sad. I'm glad to know that he has a heart. My little big boy. Throughout the rest of the day he kept saying things like "Poor Hippo," or "I wanted to see him," and "Mom are you sure he is dead?" And every question was followed by a hug. :( He came home and told his Daddy too. Awwww He's so sweet. So other then all the sadness he did have a good time.

Here is my next scrap page. The one where he's climbing. I am gonna title it Determination. Don't you love it! Yay! LOL Now just to see when I get to scrap. Blah. Maybe today. Heh. I'll probably scrap a different picture first. I'm dumb like that. Ooooo I got some awesome scrap stuff at Wal-Mart the other day. Some flowers and ribbon and some more lace. I can't wait to play with it all. I gotta go place an order today I am in some serious need of scrap stuff. More!!! I need more!!! I gotta get some of the Color Theory stuff to start that album. Yikes! I don't wanna wait till the last minute to get it done.

Ooooooo so Friday is the big day!!!! Cherry Arte will announce who made their team. I still have hope people! ;-) Geeze how will I make it throughout these next few days! I am sooo anxious! Ha Ha! Good luck to everyone who entered. Hopefully at least someone I know will make the team! That'll be awesome.

Simple and Sweet....

Just finished this page and of course had to post it. Kept it clean and simple. I like this style for all those pictures I need to scrap. Quick stuff and cute! Lots of sewing. Used my latest FAVE the new DoodleBug flowers. OMGOSH! They are the most adorable!!! I NEED them in EVERY color! LOL This picture is of the day the dentist pulled his "Teef" out out. Story behind that toothless grin goes a little like this... One day while little Timmy played over at his bestfriend Alans house his Mommy called and ask him to come home. "Okay Mommy, Timmy replied sweetly and assuredly. 20 minutes passed by and Timmy's Mommy began to wonder,"Hmmm...Where could that Little Timmy be at?" So once more she phone the Smith's. "Okay", Alan's Mommy Replied, "Timmy is on his way", then said goodbye. Almost 20 more minutes passed and Timmy's Mommy began to worry. And as told above Timmy Mommy again phoned the Smith's home. "Mara", Allan's Mommy said with fight in her shaking voice,"Timmy fell, His mouth is bleeding". Timmy's Mommy hung up the phone without saying a word and darted right over to Alan's house which you should know is directly across from Timmy's home. Before Timmy's Mommy got over to Allan's house Allan's Mommy came walking out with a hysterical and I might add badly bleeding little Timmy. "Oh, NO!" Timmy's Mommy exclaimed. Then while handing the Bloody Hysterical Timmy to his Mommy Allan's Mommy said, "I dunno what happened I was upstairs and came down to him screaming." "Ok", said Timmy's Mommy while rushing him inside to have a closer look. When they got indoors Timmy's Mommy set him on the counter by the sink to rinse his mouth out. While crying and bleeding Timmy's Mommy could see poor little Timmy's teeth were pushed back towards his throat and his little gums were blue and purple. A very concerned Timmy's Mommy called the dentist and made an appointment for the next day. When Timmy's teeth stopped bleeding Timmy decided he wanted to go back to Allan's. Timmy's Mommy firmly said,"No Timmy, you are grounded." "You should have listened when I first told you to come home, then none of this would have ever happened." "Now you will be toothless for 4 years and grounded for a week!" Timmy cried, but his Mommy meant what she said. The following day Timmy's Mommy took Timmy to the dentist appointment. Timmy asked many questions about the dentist seeing as how this would be his first Dentist appointment. He was very curious. Timmy's Mommy did not have all the answers, but Timmy would soon find out on his own who the dentist was and what he would do. When they arrived at the dentist Timmy's Mommy signed him in and they watched a few cartoons in the waiting room. Finally from the door the dentists assistant called,"Timmy, Timmy Baca". Timmy looked at his Mommy as if to say,"Do I go now?" Timmy's Mommy nodded and said, Go ahead......be brave son." Timmy walked off and away he went into the room behind the door. Timmy's Mommy could see Little Timmy the whole time, but Timmy knew nothing of this. The dentist gave Timmy the yucky gel to numb his gums a bit and then off he went to speak with Timmy's Mommy. "Mrs. Baca", the dentist said as he approached Timmy's Mommy, "Timmy has really knocked his two front teeth loose." They are not repairable",he said regrettingly. Timmy's Mommy nodded,"Are you sure Sir?" she asked with a sound of hope in her voice. He was sure. Timmy was a brave brave little boy that day in the dentist chair. The dentist went back in gave Timmy a shot or two in the gums and pulled his two front teeth out. Timmy came out to his Mommy all smiles. Toothless smiles I might add. "He's all done Mrs. Baca", said the dentist's assistant. "He sure was a brave boy, she said as she handed her some gauze for later in case of bleeding." "Yes, he is," said Timmy's Mommy with a smile. Then the Timmy and his Mommy headed home with a few less teeth. When they got home Timmy's Mommy gave him some medicine to help the pain. The bleeding stop about and hour later and Timmy looked and the mirror and said,"Look Mommy I'm Toofleef!" And that my friends is the story of Timmy and the day he lost his "teef".

Soooooooo Today I had yet another Doctor's appointment. 2 hours worth of DOUBLE YUCK. LOL Cleaned up a bit around the house today so feeling very refreshed now with the spotless house, that will only last until after dinner. Yummy pizza is what's for dinner! Mmmmmm in the oven right now. Then, the fabulous leftover pieces of cake from Dad's birthday. Yippeeeeee. Hmm no wonder I am so chubbs. Heh. So after dinner I am scrapping. Sooo glad. I haven't scrapped in what seems like forever. Gonna do another Timmy page. I have this vision for a page of me, but need to scrap more of Timmy. So Kricket is sooo stinking cute. I love watching her play. She jumps all over the place. Noticed today she has the curtains all snagged. HaHa Shhh don't tell Tim. She's so so playful. Ooooo looks like the food is ready! Okay just wanted to blog for a few and a few it was. Catch you all another day! Off again to my wonderful life.

Update...

It's been a while, hey? Sorry guys. Guess life has kept me busy. Hope all is well with the rest of the world. Today is my Dad's birthday! Happy Birthday Daddy!!!! I hope he has a great day. I know he is working right now, but hopefully everything is going accordingly. I am taking him to In & Out for lunch and then I will be making him dinner, mom made a cake and then present after. Sounds like fun! Sounds like a few added pounds to me. I am starving and can't wait to eat that double double w/ pickle! Mmmmmmmmmm. Man I am a pig. LMBO Okay so Mother's day just past. I hope all of you mother's out there has a most wonderful day! I had a very relaxing day. Woke up to the cutest little boy saying "Happy Mother's Day Mommy open your present." He made me a plate at school. Soooooo cute and by far the best mother's day present. And according to the card he made me I am 52 feet tall and weigh only a mere 20 pounds. LOL Too Cute. He says he wouldn't trade me for a monster truck and my favorite food is Mc Donald's Cheeseburgers. Ha Ha Ha I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers and balloon. Hee Hee. I cuddle with Timmy on the couch and we watched two movies after breakfast. For dinner we went out to the Olive. Mmmmm It was so yummy. All in all it was a pretty great day. Thank God for Mother's!!!! Now I'd like to introduce everyone to the newest member of our family!!! Kricket!!! My Dad found her outside crying and saved her for me. He knew I would want her. Yay me! She's sooo sweet. Don't you agree? Although we don't know yet if she's actually a she. Ha Ha poor Kricket. She has an appointment this week so we'll find out soon enough. Hoping she's a girl though. ;) Timmy loves her and is always after her. Not sure the feeling is mutual seeing as how she takes off running as soon as she spots him. heh Poor thing was so scared of everything at first. Now she's easing up with all the tender love and care. ;) She loves Tim! And he didn't want her to begin with, but trust me he loves her the most. Ha Ha Men. They sure are funny. So Excited!!!!

Today I got the Memory Makers book I was published in. It's called Simply Graphic. This is the first time I have seen my work in a book! It's a page of Timmy too. So that's awesome!! Man does it feel good! Yay me!!!!!! So I'm all giddy now. LOL Now I can wait to get my magazine from Scrapbook Trends. I'll be in their July issue twice with a page of Timmy and a page of Chloe (Heidi's baby girl). I just love scrapping Chloe! She's too stinking cute! And then sometime in November another book I am featured in 3 times will be out! This is just too cool! I think I am gonna go submit some more pages today. Heh. Oh and if things couldn't get any better check out my fortune from last night's fortune cookie...Yeah Baby! LMBO Trust me it's a sign. ;-) Well at least I'd like to think it was. Ha Ha Ha

Oh Happy Day.

Well I got 4 players. Yeehaw! LOL Thanks girls for playing! And uhhhhh sorry Heidi, I did wear gauchos. BUT they're jean! I guess they're more like Bermuda shorts just with wide legs. Don't get all scared, they're really cute! Heh. And Sorry Marina unfortunately I did have Mccy D's. LOL So I didn't scrapbook and I didn't check the mail. Ha Ha Ha And since there were only two right answers I'll send out two R.A.K.s. Soooo if Happay could e-mail me her addy and Lauren. And Lauren lemme know how you came up on my blog. I'd love to know. ;) If you two could also mention to me weather you'd like a set of homemade cards or just sb product. Thanks Chicas!!! Okay and now for the much awaited NEW hair cut photo...... It's really easy to manage. It's the shortest I've ever had it before and well I LOVE IT!!! And it looks sooo cute in a pony. YAY! One downside though,... It looks lame and HUGE when I do it curly. :( Oh well. I had her cut my bangs too, which are driving me cookoo. I can't wait for them to grow out. Geeze. I'm not sure I like this picture, but it was the best one of my new do so here she be. ----------------------------> Tell me whatcha think. So far today I clean up the house a bit and washed all I have left is laundry to fold, bathroom to be cleaned, and mop. Whoohoo. Sound like fun or what? Man I hate cleaning. HaHaHa Oh well somebody's gotta do it. Well I have decided it's time to learn how to REALLY use my Nikon. I am sick of using the lame auto modes. Well they're good just not what I want so today I study my manual and I have this Nikon book I am going to dig into. So hopefully this week I can learn something awesome. I want to take some pictures of my mom. And then later when I get better I wanna take pic.s of my Aunts. All of them! My mom has 6 sisters man. Heh. Crazy. And I have none. Go figure. Oh yeah I almost forgot, I scrapbooked yesterday. LOL Just something simple. I never do simple so had to try it. I love this picture of Timmy so wanted to keep it clean and clear to focus on it. Loving this paper by We Are Memory Keeper. Also hating doing 12x12 right now. I gotta make Timmy an 8x11 too. But hopes ya likes... Signing off now and just wanna add today is a good day. It's gorgeous lately, but then it gets into the 80's. Ahhhh summer. Where did spring go? LOL Right now I have all the windows opened and the ceiling fans on... Sooo refreshing. Happy National Scrapbooking Day!

Hopefully all my fellow scrapper will get a chance to scrap today, including myself. But things aren't look to well for that. LOL Today started off well. Saturday mornings for us usually consist of Timmy waking us up and all three of us laying in bed playing around. Goofs. It's all fun and games until somebody gets hurt. LOL Nobody got hurt this time though. Heh. Then we made breakfast. Mmmmmmm Ham and Cheese omelets, granny biscuits, fried taters, and some fresh o.j. Okay, okay maybe it wasn't fresh, but is sure was good. Hee Hee So now here I sit, (still in my pajamas b.t.w.) after cleaning our breakfast mess, BLOGGING. I wanted to wish everyone a great Saturday! Hoping to get some good sales at the LSS. Ya never can tell though. Hoping I'll find some time today to whip up a page during my FAVORITE holiday. Ha Ha Ha But if I don;t post one here is one I did Thursday for that contest at SG. It was to use inspiration outta the magazines we buy (put those mags to work). Thursday And So Ready For Friday!

Wow tonight the O.C. comes on!! Yeehaw!! I can't wait! We missed the last one cause of our last minute trip to L.A. It was the Senior Prom one too. I am sooo sad, so if anyone wants to recap it for me e-mail me a.s.a.p. LOL Man. Am I the only one who wished it were Friday already. It feels like a Friday today too. Weird. Too bad it's not. Tomorrow is Friday and do you know what that means? School. I volunteer at Timmy's school on Fridays. It's art day. I talked to Timmy's teacher today after school and asked her if it'd be okay to bring my camera. She said it would be fine. So I am hoping to get some good shots of the kids while making art. It's crazy because every single kid in that class is adorable! I swear! They are all so cute. I love it. And I love all of 'em. His teacher informed me that two of the students will not be returning next year. Awwwww. That's so sad. Big time bummer. I will share some pictures of Timmy that I get tomorrow in class. Yay. So did you guys see this? "Pages We Loved" How cool is that. Ahhh such an honor to be picked as a fave by the beloved Effers! So was on high too. I really love the way that page turned out and to see that somebody else loved it just as much, well, it just feels good. Nobody gets it around here. Like my #1 fan (my mother) she told me I look evil. LMBO She's funny. Okay she's mean actually. Like I said though peeps over here just don't get it. You know? To all my scrappahs ya feelin' me? Holla! So I won a $10 contest over at Scrapbook Goddess. Just for taking a picture of myself! I swear they have such great contest there! Every month they issue like 10 different challenges where you can win a gift certificate. Sooooo cool! This is the third time I have won! How awesome is that?! So I think I may scrap later for another one of their coolness contests! I did this page last night. It was way fun, but took forever to cute and ink all those little scraps. I enjoyed slapping all that "junk" on there. And just sewing wherever. I did the picture in PSP. It would have look more like a drawing, but I darkened it because it looked too light and all the bright colors I used would have washed it out. So yeah I was pretty happy with the way this one turned out too. Loving it quite actually. Really diggin' those big flowers lately too. LOL Just wanted to shout out to Marina my Aussie friend. Sup girl? I got that package for Timmy yesterday. He loved it! He's been using the pen for all his drawings too! Sharpened his pencil and all already. He loves the towel! Heh He's so cute! Thank you so much girl! You are too sweet. Loved the cylinder package. So cool. Never gotten one of those before. Pretty neat. So hey if you could e-mail me your addy I'll send out those CJ pages I STILL have. I am so bad. Sorry chica!

Finally....

I feel like I haven't blogged in forever and it's only been about a week. Heh. It's a little addicting hey? I'd like to blog everyday, but I'm too boring. Like I can't just type all kinds a cool and interesting junk. So ya'll will have to settle. I need to take some pictures of ME!!! HaHa! It's funny I went to Chili's on Friday (it was my aunt's birthday) and after we all ate my cousin wanted to take pictures of everyone. It was so funny cause I was sitting at a light pole and one of my cousins was all,"Omogsh! Mara stop posing!" I soooo wasn't I swear! They were all making fun of me saying how I always take pictures of myself. LMBO!!! Haters! HaHaHa It was fun. I want to get the pictures from the cousin that took the pictures. IF I get them I'll post 'em. You know you wanna see 'em. *sticks tongue out* Okay so the whole reason I was Saying I need to take pictures of myself is cause...... I GOT ANOTHER HAIR CUT!!!!!!! Its right under my shoulders. Plus I told her to cut me bangs, but BOY was that a mistake! They are driving me INSANE!!! Everyone says they're cute, but screw that I keep clipping them back. Heh. Okay so what has happened since the last time I blogged? Hmmm... Thinking..... Oh yeah my Effer Dare page right below. I was in the zone man! It was so rad! It came out like perfect! I love it! Ha. *Sounding all conceded* I'm so not though, it's just once in a while you do a page like you pictured it in your head. Rare moments peeps. Rare. So I entered the Cherry Arte Design Team Call. I doubt I'll make it. I have been getting to "freestyle" lately with my scrapping. I think they'll probably be looking more for the conserved scrapping style. Which I can totally do, but just haven't been in that groove anymore. Like seriously I want my stuff all funked up! More like whatevah goes, you know? So yeah I am waiting for Scrapbook Goddess to load the K.I. Memories Color Theory stuff so I can place a phat order. I'm ready to start my Celebrate Color Album for the contest. That is one awesome contest ladies! K.I. Memories is my all time favorite Company how could I pass up a contest like this by them? Yeah I can't! LOL I already have an idea for my album! Ahhhhhh can you hear me screaming? I WANT THE STUFF TO START IT!!!! Yaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh. LOL Omgosh did any of you watch prison Break tonight? WOW!!! I think the ending was a little lame. Like how is Michael gonna just whip out a knife on the pope? Nuts! I guess you'd do anything for an innocent brother on death roe, hey? Okay well maybe not all of us would go to prison and try to bust him out, but ya'll know what I'm sayin! LOL That show is crazy! Like did you see scenes for next week? Meow. I can't wait all week. What's up with that?! And who dies people? MAN. I can't take this suspense anymore. So much going on this week with that show. So on a more basic note I just bought some of those Nestles Crunch Stix. Oh my Geee-zuuuuusss-ahhhhh. Tho babies are DA BOMB!!!! If you haven't tried them you gotta I mean GOTTA run out and buy some. Do me a favor too, don't act all dumb and just buy one box. YA'll need like four at least!!!! They have 'em in dark yep you read that right DARK Chocolate too! Ohhhh! Ohhhhh Yum! Well, stuff has been a little lame lately. So much junk going on right now in my head. Gonna be a looong night. Can you tell me why some people are just stupid? I get so sick of just out right STUPID people. Gotta handle some junk tomorrow. Let some stuff slide. Slam some people. Get busy. Ha Ha Ummmm where did that come from. Whooooooooo. Ha Ha There I go again, being nuts. Okay well I gotta jump in the shower then get stuff ready for a fun filled day in kindergarten class. *Winx* Volunteering again tomorrow.
